LuminFire, the company that develops and licenses fmFlare, regularly deals with sensitive business information and assists in keeping it secure for our clients. As such, we take your privacy very seriously and have policies in place to maintain your confidential information.

While using our Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name, address, email, phone number, etc. (“Personal Information”). We will not sell or otherwise share your Personal Information with any third parties.
Security
The security of your Personal Information is important to us All data transmission is performed using encrypted connections (SSL/TLS). Although no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, we strive to use commercially acceptable best practices to protect your Personal Information.
Log Data
Like many sites, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site (“Log Data”). Information including analytics, diagnostic, and usage information is collected for the purposes of helping us to improve our products and focus development resources where it best benefits our clients and customers.
This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.
In addition, we may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyze this.
Usage Data
The Software logs usage data locally. This data is not preserved when upgrading the solution. You can export this data for analysis and debugging.
If not disabled, the Software will log usage data to a centralized telemetry service operated by LuminFire. This data is transmitted in bulk during license checks to avoid impeding the performance of your solution.
You can opt out of centralized usage logging in your Account Preferences.

License Validation
As a function of license validation, the Software performs a daily license check with a centralized licensing server. To ensure availability during sporadic outages/maintenance windows, this check may fail for up to 5 consecutive days before functionality is disabled.

Error Logging
If enabled, the Software may log errors to a third party service (Rollbar) to assist with troubleshooting issues.
fmFlare Web Services
Some functions in the Software depend on fmFlare Web Services and may transmit PII or sensitive data (keys/tokens) outside your fmFlare file.
fmFlare Web Services is managed by LuminFire on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and follows best practices to ensure data integrity and confidentiality, but is a multi-tenant environment. Sensitive data is not logged or stored by fmFlare Web Services and is discarded after the request completes. If you have security or regulatory concerns, please contact us before using any fmFlare Web Services in your solution.
If you do not wish to transmit data to or receive data from fmFlare web services, the following Functions should not be used:
AWS S3

The IAM Key & Secret are passed to fmFlare Web Services to provide access to perform the requested tasks. Data including filenames and metadata (but not file contents) is received by fmFlare Web Services and returned to fmFlare.
Digital Ocean Spaces

The Spaces Key & Secret are passed to fmFlare Web Services to provide access to perform the requested tasks.
Quickbooks Online
- Request Access via fmFlare Web Services
OAuth tokens are retrieved from Quickbooks Online and passed to fmFlare for use in subsequent function calls.

Only applicable if used with an unlisted, private, or hash validated URL.
Communications
We may use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that you request to do business together.

Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
